This place was a great find for us. I was travelling with my teenage girls and it was important for us to feel safe while being close to all the major points of interest. The staff was wonderful. The location is only 5 minute walk from Tokyo Station. Two minute walk from 7/11. 5 minute walk to Nihombashi station which ended up being our main go to. The room was small for 3 people but adequate for Japan values. They offer breakfast for purchase (we did not buy) but they had snacks and coffee for free most of the rest of the day. They have coin laundry (while it did not dry things completely, still was a life saver) The AC worked very nicely in the heat of Tokyo in summer. Shower pressure and temp was amazing. The beds are comfortable and mattress a bit firm (which we like) Bathroom is separate from shower area which was nice. Very nice loofah :) Amazing Watermelon popsicles in the freezer in the afternoons! Free bottles of water daily. Very quiet rooms. Comfortable PJs.

Breakfast in karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION

The hotel is in an excellent position for access to Tokyo Station. Just a couple of minutes walk which is very helpful when carrying heavy luggage. We stayed just one night at the end of our trip after travelling around Japan. We stayed in connecting rooms with three beds in one room and two beds in the other. The rooms were clean tidy, shower pressure was great and they even had pyjamas. There were drinks and snacks available for free in the reception lobby. The staff were amazing. They allowed us to store our bags there prior to check-in while we travelled around other parts of Japan. I left an item behind and when I contacted them about it. They confirmed that they had it and were happy to put me in contact with a shipping company that would organise for it to be shipped back to me in Australia. We were very happy with this hotel for a short stay.

We were so very pleased with our stay! Staff are exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. (Staff will gladly help you with luggage forwarding, fill up forms, call the location luggage will be forwarded to, and will even wrap your luggage for you!) Location is on point, very close, 5 min walk to Tokyo Station. Rooms were beautiful, nice, clean and quite spacious (we had connecting rooms). Toiletries were luxurious. Maintenance staff was super fast, he fixed our clogged toilet in no time (Japan toilets are very fancy!) They also provided us with fresh pajamas and towels everyday! Breakfast was delicious (you have to pay extra but very minimal amount). They do have coin laundry (wash and dry in one) but they dont dry clothes very well so save washing clothes for emergencies. They also provide umbrellas for you to use on rainy days! Overall our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend! Would definitely stay at Karaksa again.

Location of the hotel is excellent. Walking distance from Tokyo station and other metro station. It is also near to restaurants and Takashimya and Daimaru is within walking distance. There is also 7-11 and family mart nearby. Room is a good size and there were enough space for 2 large luggages. Do note that the hotel only provide basic housekeeping - throwing out of rubbish and changing of towels. If you would like a full housekeeping service, you would need to inform the front desk accordingly. The hotel also provides free snacks and drinks at the lobby until 10pm daily.

The hotel is ideally located within a 5–10 minute walk from two subway stations, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and daily interactions a pleasure. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The shower was spacious with strong water pressure—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The toilet was modern and comfortable, featuring a high-tech bidet with a variety of customizable settings that added a touch of luxury to the experience.

Clean, up-to-date, staff were super friendly & helpful. A number of amenities were made available without them being wasted if we didn’t need them. Super easy to send larger luggage via delivery service with the help of front desk staff. Several non-alcoholic beverages available free most of the day & evening. Proximity to Tokyo & Nihombashi stations.

Breakfast in karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION

We booked two connecting rooms (1 with 3 single beds, 1 with 2 single beds) and it was the best decision for our family of 3 adults and 2 children. We were given the connecting rooms on the 4th floor. The single beds can be moved so it became a double bed. The rooms were clean, neat and modern. More surprisingly, the size of the rooms were bigger than the ones we had experienced in Tokyo. The children loved running between the two connecting rooms. Highly recommend for families to book the connecting rooms! The lifts were working. Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Wifi was stable. Hot water supply was consistent. No noise from neighbouring rooms. Given non smoking room as requested. Location was fantastic, within walking distance to Tokyo station with lots of food and supermarket options around. They had a dining area in the lobby where breakfast is served and one can get free snacks/drinks outside of breakfast hours.

Property building in karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION

The hotel is very close to Tokyo Station and the Ginza metro station, and even within walking distance to explore the Ginza area itself. The room size is larger than the average in Japan, though still smaller compared to European standards. It’s worth noting that there is no wardrobe, just a hanger with three hooks, so we had to keep our luggage in the suitcase. As in most Japanese hotels, the mattresses were very comfortable, the soundproofing of the rooms was excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable stay.

Breakfast in karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional, the hotel rooms are small but designed to make best use of the available space, with all the amenities required. The hotel is perfectly located in an area full of brilliant bars and restaurants it's also between the main railway/bus station and the Nihombashi subway where you can use the Yamanote and Ginza lines, to get to most of Tokyos more interesting areas.

Breakfast in karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION

Very conveniently located. Close to the station as well as the subway. Many restaurants in walking distance. Extremely helpful staff. The hotel has a comfortable (small) waiting area if you arrive before the check in time with complimentary coffee and soft drinks with some light snacks ( cake etc). The room was unexpectedly large for a Tokyo hotel room. We were two but a third person could easily sleep on the sofa bed. Bathroom was a bit small. The hotel has a different tariff on weekends. ( That’s what it was for us) it’s almost double. That pinched a lot having got the same facilities for half the price just two days earlier.
